We created four key areas, inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, keeping us focused on action, not words.

PLANET

It’s our responsibility to help protect the health of our precious planet.

So far, we have calculated our 2021 baseline carbon footprint. We’ll set scientific based targets in 2023 along with moving 100% of our production to the UK.

We will improve our impact every year with the 2050 target to achieve net zero – decreasing our climate footprint by treading a little lighter with every step.

We are a certified B-Corp. We want an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for the planet. We will use our business as a force for good.

PLANET

Loss of biodiversity is the second most urgent environmental concern after climate change.*

We already embrace planet-friendly practices partnering with UEBT (Union for Ethical Biotrade) to source with respect for people and biodiversity.

Through this we are making a real difference to the communities we work with, helping our customers to understand the benefit of shopping with us, and challenging the beauty industry to level up.

Through this we are making a real difference to the communities we work with, helping our customers to understand the benefit of shopping with us, and challenging the beauty industry to level up.

CIRCULARITY

Reducing plastic waste and keeping our oceans clean always feature in the top priorities for our customers.

It was at the top of our list too, so we became plastic neutral with Noughty and are set to smash our target of collecting 51,701 KG of plastic waste in 2022.

Plus, with Plantopia we teamed up with Ocean Waste Plastic (OWP) from launch, to remove the same amount of plastic from the ocean as we use in our packaging.

We’ve also calculated a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) for our best selling Plantopia product, and a baseline of all packaging components.

Working alongside our global partners we will continue to challenge, innovate and improve from design to product end of life.

CIRCULARITY
